Bill Greuel
Bill Greuel is the CEO of Protein Industries Canada. Applying his passion for all things agriculture, Bill will lead the development of PIC’s programs, resources, and initiatives to connect and inspire Canada’s plant protein potential.
Bill brings an extensive background in the agriculture industry. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Deputy Minister, Regulatory and Innovation for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture. His Ministry experience also includes Executive Director of the Crops and Irrigation Branch, Provincial Oilseed Specialist and Research and Development Manager. In addition to his public sector experience, Bill has also worked for a biotech start-up, spent several years in the canola industry and earned progressive leadership roles in a large multi-national agriculture company.
An advocate for innovation, Bill is actively engaged in several boards and committees including the Agriculture Development Fund Advisory Committee and the boards of Ag-West Bio and Prairie Agricultural Machinery Institute.

Tiffany Stephenson
Tiffany Stephenson is Protein Industries Canada's Chief Marketing Officer.
As CMO, Tiffany is responsible for member engagement, brand management and strategic communications to support PIC in their goals of growing the value-added processing sector in Western Canada, with a focus on creating plant-protein based products and co-products. With more than 15 years marketing, communication and stakeholder engagement experience, Tiffany has led multiple provincial marketing campaigns, including the province’s agriculture awareness campaign #ourfoodhasastory. Originally from a grain farm in southwest Saskatchewan, Tiffany has called Regina home since 2004. She is a member of the Regina Exhibition Association Ltd. Board of Directors.

Chris Anderson
Chris Anderson is Protein Industries Canada's Chief Technology Officer.
Chris Anderson (B.Sc Hons, M.Sc) is the current Chief Technology Office of Protein Industries Canada. Chris is passionate about driving innovation in agriculture and has demonstrated experience in achieving consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Prior to joining PIC, Chris spent 20 years in private industry working on the development, production and commercialization of ag technologies in multi-national organizations. He played a key role in the development and launch of several new seed products, biologicals and biotech traits and spent more than 5 years leading the canola technology strategy for Monsanto/Bayer. In addition, Chris served as the Vice President of Crop Production for the Canola Council of Canada. Chris grew up on a grain and seed farm near Dugald, MB where he still resides with his wife and 2 sons.

Kassandra Quayle
Kassandra Quayle is Protein Industries Canada's Chief Financial Officer.
With a focus on building strong relationships, financial management, and reporting, Kassandra works collaboratively with PIC members and ISED to facilitate the administration of the Supercluster program.
She holds a Master of Professional Accounting degree and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. Kassandra has worked in the accounting and finance industry for more than 15 years. She has worked in public practice and within the agriculture, manufacturing and retail industries.
Kassandra sits on the RaiseHer Community Board of Directors.

Kara Marchand
Kara Marchand is Protein Industries Canada's Vice President of Finance and Operations
As VP, Finance, and Operations, Kara is responsible for the day to day operations at PIC as well as Corporate Governance and Financial Management.
Kara is a CPA with over 20 years of experience in the government and university sectors. She grew up on a grain and cattle farm in southeast Saskatchewan but Regina is now home.
She is a member of the Conexus Credit Union Board of Directors.

Deidre Plosz Rowley
Deidre Plosz Rowley is Protein Industries Canada's Corporate Secretary and Executive Assistant to the CEO Bill Greuel.
Deidre was born and raised on a farm in south-eastern Saskatchewan. She is passionate about agriculture and experiencing different cultures. Before joining PIC, Deidre worked in the Deputy Minister’s Office – Agriculture. She comes with over 25 years of administrative experience, working in both the private and public sectors.

Meghan Gervais
Meghan Gervais is Protein Industries Canada's Intellectual Property Manager.
Meghan Gervais, Intellectual Property Manager, works with members to develop IP strategies for PIC funded projects and is responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of PIC’s IP Registry and the implementation of the Supercluster’s IP policies. Based in Saskatoon, Meghan also serves as the Regional Program Specialist for Saskatchewan. Meghan’s career has spanned a range of management, commercialization and engineering roles in Saskatchewan’s value-added processing sector within the Saskatchewan Research Council and POS Bio-Sciences. Meghan is a registered Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan and sits on the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.

Lisa Campbell
Lisa Campbell is Protein Industries Canada's Director of Programs and Regulatory.
Lisa is the Director of Programs and Regulatory at Protein Industries Canada, where she works with PIC members to help develop project proposals, provide program guidance, and manage and evaluate ongoing projects. Prior to her time at PIC, Lisa was the Senior Manager, Research & Nutrition at the Canola Council of Canada (CCC) where she was responsible for managing their research programs including the Canola Agri-Science Cluster, Canola Agronomic Research Program (CARP) and various oil and meal projects, as well as working to ensure that research results were effectively disseminated. Previously, Lisa also served as Director of Programs at Pulse Canada.

Diane Harms
Diane Harms is Protein Industries Canada’s Program Specialist – Alberta.
Diane is the Program Specialist in Alberta, where she works with PIC members to help develop project proposals, provide program guidance, and manage and evaluate ongoing projects. Diane’s strong skills in science communication, marketing and fundraising allowed Diane to help companies and researchers raise over $57 million dollars in capital and operational investments over the last 16 years. After working as a consultant while farming with her husband, she took on a leadership role with Lakeland College to help them to build their research enterprise. Diane is a long-time champion of Startup Lloydminster, a business incubator helping companies navigate start-up and growth challenges and currently serves as their Board Chair.

Camila Jerger
Camila Jerger is Protein Industries Canada's Ecosystem Development Manager
Camila is Protein Industry Canada’s Ecosystem Development Manager, based out of Manitoba. Camila’s work at PIC involves the development and execution of ecosystem priorities for the Supercluster, managing projects, creating member value and building strategic partnerships. An important part of her work is to assure capacity-building projects are aligned with PIC’s strategy and that they deliver lasting results for the sector.
For the past 10 years, Camila has been working in the agribusiness and food processing sectors, in roles including Strategic Planning, Project Management, Business Development, and Marketing, in companies like Cargill and Economic Development Winnipeg. During the course of her career, she had the opportunity to travel and work across Canada, US, Europe, and Brazil, connecting all parts of the ag value chain, from farm to consumer.
Camila also serves as a Board Member at the Manitoba Chapter of the Canadian Agri-Marketing Association (CAMA).

Carson Sinclair
Carson Sinclair is Protein Industries Canada's Program Coordinator.
Prior to joining PIC, Carson worked within the agricultural industry, particularly with start-up businesses which equip him for supporting the growth in the industry today.
Carson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, International Business Degree from the University of Regina. His passion for international business began as he completed part of his degree while studying abroad at the University of South Australia. Recently returning home to complete his degree and continue his passion within the agriculture industry.
